Cutting out the inner fender lip. They were originally going to roll it, with a special machine they had, but they said it would have taken hours to do it right, and it was cheaper and simpler to cut them away, as well as more effective since there is no fender at all to rub against, rather than have the fender pushed back a little bit. Turned out great, and no significant loss of integrity of the wheel well. It had to be done to fit my 275 yokohomas on the rear when I got new tires. I can take pics in the day light if needed tomorrow.
